A global traveler and musical performer, Ivan has refined his tastes in music by going native in several countries and nourishing his musical soul. This gives his music a voice that is original and exciting to the world of Film and TV music.

 

Ivan's composition wheelhouse is highly refined and built from his lifelong training in many classical forms, ethnic indigenous forms, and popular music. His life of music, studying in India, Europe, Chile, and Boston have given him a wealth of authentic musical instrument performance techniques and knowledge for playing and writing parts for Film and TV. Ivan has graced stages in Europe, South America, the US, and India expressing his tremendous capacity for relating the human experience through music and words. 

 

Ivan further deepened his songwriting, orchestration, arranging, conducting, songwriting, and production skills during his Undergraduate and Graduate studies in Music Composition for Film, TV, and Games at Berklee College of Music. His combined education and global musical experience give him the strength to handle any song form needed to support a director's vision. Ivan's creative process and Project Management skills make him a vibrant reliable collaboration partner in Post Production music.

In recent years, Ivan's orchestral compositions have been performed and recorded in Air Studios (London, UK), Sala Martin i Soler Palau de les Arts (Valencia, Spain), Aula Magistral Palau de les Arts (Valencia Spain), and East Connection Music Recording Studio 22 (Budapest, Hungary).

Nominated for “best music for Chilean films” in the festival FICVIÑA 2014. He has also composed music for web series, video games, theatre, dance, and circus shows as well as live performances in Chile, Croatia, Spain, and the US.

Currently, Ivan is based in Ashburn, Virginia where he writes and arranges music for media and live performances.
